Hi , what would you like to see today?

Elected Officers

Shelby Loasby - President

I lead the work of the Officer team and I represent students to the University and wider community. I have previously held the position of VP Communications & Media, where I assisted with events, campaigns and supported students throughout their university experience. One thing people may not know about me is that I am a qualified sailor and that I love the ocean!

Rosy Vega - VP Activities

My role includes developing sport and social activities on campus, overseeing student opportunities for fun and development and assuring that all students are making the most of their time at University. I plan to organise more free events on both campuses, while listening to the students and what they want to see.

Adil - VP Services

I take responsibility of student and commercial services, while also meeting with senior staff on service-based issues. I plan to accomplish reduced accommodation, control prices at the Student Union shops and restaurants and introduce a multi-faith centre, car park and student centre in De Havilland Campus. I am passionate about my new role and look forward to make a difference.

Sarah Kwedi - VP Education

My role consists of striving for great academic experiences for the students and ensuring students leave with a great degree and are employable. My favourite thing about Hertfordshire SU is that the SU allows power into the hands of the students (and the parties!)

Manny Hakimyar - VP Community

My role involves ensuring the welfare of the students, working with on and off-campus partners to develop a community of students at the University of Hertfordshire and holding a social responsibility amongst the students. My favourite show on Netflix is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air – it is the most legendary series ever!
