Candidate for the position of NUS Delegates
Favour Akudochukwu Amaikwu
Why are you interested in being elected, and what makes you an outstanding candidate for NUS Delegate in particular?
I am very passionate about the wellbeing of the students in this institution and I want to be part of every positive change that will transform the mental, physical and fundamental status of every student in this University by delegating on matters of concern in the NUS national conference.
What relevant skills/experience would you be able to bring to the role?
Of course what’s a NUS Delegate without the ability to delegate; the ability to delegate is one of the most vital skill that I would bring to the role as well as strategic thinking ,positivity, passion ,competence and ability to perform excellently and achieve results. And I am also Law Student; advocacy is my thing.
What would you consider to be your main strengths?
Co-operation: I consider this as my main strength; I would be working closely with other delegates, to ensure that goals are not only made but are also met.
What would you consider to be your main weaknesses?
Disunity: I believe in the statement “United will stand, Divided will fall”. This is not only applicable to the delegates, but also to all of us as students, I believe that nothing is unachievable and impossible, if we all work together.
Introduce yourself! What should students know about you?
I am a very nice, amazing, talented, strong lady. I am also very approachable. I won’t let you down, not even when I am down; I will not disappoint you and will continually work towards making every single vote of each and every one of you count.
