ABOUT ME
I’m Vicky Pham and I am running Communication and Media. I am currently in my final year at the Business School studying Human Resource Management. I took a year out last year to work in the real world and I am ready to bring some change to Herts uni life.
WHY I AM STANDING FOR VP COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA
I feel my hands-on experience in Communication and Media specifically will really bring a change to Herts student. I had chance to work with BBC television centre in London during my Media Studies at A-Levels, making me an outstanding student. I had also worked with 2 big global companies in HR, Crowe Horwath top 5 public consulting and accounting firms & Paul UK, in which require excellent communication skill in order to engage with over 8,000 employees. My experience in Media itself will definitely help to enhance Trident Media.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO IN THE ROLE
- Forum Hertfordshire - understand students’ needs and wants along with marketing the forum to remain successful.
- Employability - Understanding that employment is indeed the main concern and target for you all as student, I would like to work closely with Career and Employment create more events and platforms for students to connect with employers, e.g. help building up with LinkedIn.
- Trident media - Strengthen the link between students and aid more growth.
- Gain more opinions from students on future development and improvements through social media.
