For LGBT+ History Month, the Student Union are looking into how to make life better for transgender and non-binary students around campus whilst also educating those around them. In the pronoun workshops, in collaboration with the LGBT+ Society, we aim to create an educational but fun environment where people can feel safe to ask all the questions about pronouns they may often be too scared to ask.
The session is completely FREE and is a great opportunity for students looking to be good allies to transgender and non-binary students on campus.
It will be on the 22nd February, Friday in Hutton Hall at 2:00PM. And if you are unavailable to make this time, we also have one on DeHavilland on the Monday. If you cannot stay for the full hour, we will be providing booklets and such that you can give out to friends and lecturers to help them also learn how to be good allies. And if you have any further queries, questions or concerns, send them to email@example.com.
Everyone uses pronouns- some may just use them differently to you!
