Education : GCSEs or equivalent.
Experience & Skills : Experience in food operations is a plus, but is not essential. Requires excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Previous customer sevice experience is a positive but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Physical: Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerised Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 5kg frequently and up to 14kg occasionally.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
Performs Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests.
Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual .
Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual .
Completes University of SUBWAY® courses as directed.
Skills & Requirements:
A good attitude and friendly demeanor are the most important things you can bring to the role. Good spoken English and excellent communication are a must. Training will be provided in everything else.
