Working on the Welcome desk – To assist with campus and town tours, directing students where to go, ensuring students have the correct documentation for administrative procedures, signing students up to trips, giving information on local amenities and supporting the Registration Process.
Airport Pick Up – Meeting and greeting students and families. Helping on their journey to UH and to their accommodation. The role may include some physical tasks such as carrying heavy luggage. Transport to and from the airport will be provided.
Social Programme – Participating and supporting sports activities and social events, delivering presentations, walking tours on day trips and generally helping new students feel welcome.
Community work on and off campus – Supporting the running of ongoing and new projects such as the community fridge, allotments, community garden and being a voice at our community forum.
Connecting users to Eduroam – Following provided instructions to help students connect to the Wifi System Eduroam.
A current UH Student or recent graduate may apply.
