1. If you were stranded on a desert island, what album would you bring?
I have to be cheeky with this one and say I would make my own album of all my favourite songs. I love so many different genres of music I honestly couldn’t' chose one album. It would include songs from Foo Fighters, Enter Shikari, Jack Johnson, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, twenty one pilots and so many more!
2. What are you looking forward to in your role?
I am really looking forward to working with my team and winning for students. The key to our success this year will be knowing exactly what we are all working on and understanding each other's strengths and weaknesses
3. Tell me something that no one else knows about you.
I spent 10 days trekking across Iceland when I was 13. It changed my life and it was first time I was truly out of my comfort zone.
4. What is your favourite show on Netflix? And why?
I absolutely love Netflix. I have so many things on the go at the moment. From House of Cards, Designated Survivor, 13 Reasons Why to Jane the Virgin, Crazy ex-girlfriend and Brooklyn nine-nine. Gotta say though, my guilty pleasure is Gilmore Girls. I used to watch it with my mum when I was younger and I like to think we are close like Lorali and Rory
5. How would your friends describe you?
My friends always say I'm 'In the know,' and that I'm a friend they can often talk to when they need that shoulder to lean on.
6. What would your dream holiday be and why?
Dream holiday? I want to go everywhere! I think it would have to be a world sailing trip. My aunt works on superyatchts for the rich and famous and I'm actually a qualified sailor so I love the ocean!
7. If you had to eat one meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of your life what would it be?
Batter mix. I can make pancakes and Yorkshires puddings with it. Although I would have to add the odd topping/filling every now and again.
8. Who is your role model?
My role model is Audrey Hepburn. I have literally idolised this woman since I was about 6 years old. She oozes class and is such an inspiring woman. Actress, model, dancer, humanitarian. Legend.
9. What do you love about Hertfordshire Students’ Union?
I love the variety. Hertfordshire students' union is such a diverse place to work and be involved with. No matter what your background is, where you are from, there is literally something for everyone and anything goes. Where else will you meet such a variety of talents and inspiring people?
10. What new goals do you have compared to last year as our VP Communications & Media?
I am so proud of my accomplishments and the bridges I built last year, and now is the time to make the most of the work I put in last year and focus on my team and my strong manifesto points. My goals are much bigger, better, and long-term this year. Watch this space.
