Freshers' Week Wristband & Ticket Collection

Important Information

As Freshers' Week is only a couple of weeks away, we thought we would drop you a quick email to give you some information about collecting your Freshers' week wristband or individual tickets.

By this point, you should have received an email from your Students' Union with your purchase confirmation (you may wish to check your Junk or Spam email folders). This would have also included your wristband/ticket reference number. If you have not yet received this information, you can check your purchase history here.

To collect your Freshers' Week wristband you will need to:

  • Visit Your Students' Union Nightclub (The Forum Hertfordshire) On either Saturday 23rd September or Sunday 24th September from 9am.
  • Bring with you a copy of your 8-digit reference number (by either printing this out or taking a screen shot on your mobile).
  • Bring with you a valid form of I.D (this includes a valid photo driving licence, a passport or a proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme).
  • Bring with you your Student ID Number (often referred to as your Student number or UH Student number) OR your Student ID Card (if you are a returning student).

We will then issue you with your wristband. A member of the team will assist you in securing your wristband to your wrist, to ensure it doesn't fall off during the week. To receive entry to any event at your Students' Union nightclub, you must show this wristband upon entry.

To collect your Freshers' Week individual tickets:

  • You will NOT need to collect your tickets on moving in weekend.
  • Arrive at the event you have a ticket for with your reference number, proof of age (ID) and your UH Student ID Number (or your Student Card, if you have one)  - we strongly advise students to either print out these details, or have them ready on your phone ready to be checked.
  • A member of the team will then check your ID and let you into the venue, providing you have purchased a ticket. We will use your reference number and student ID number to confirm this.

If you are a returning student to the University of Hertfordshire and have purchashed tickets to individual nights at The Forum this Freshers' Week, your tickets will automatically be added to your Student Card. However, If you are a returning student and have purchased a wristband, you will still need to collect your wristband on either Saturday 23rd September or Sunday 24th September.

Wristband collection will be taking place outside your Students' Union nightclub (next to the EleHouse) on the College Lane campus on Saturday 23rd September and Sunday 24th September 2017 between 9am and 6pm. This will be clearly signposted on the day.

If you are unable to collect your wristband on these dates, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@hertfordshire.su for alternative arrangements.

Your Freshers' Wristband will give you entry to every event* taking place at your Students' Union nightclub throughout Freshers' Week. In order to guarantee entry to each event, you will need to arrive at the venue and be in the queue by 11pm. If you are not in the queue by this time, you are not guaranteed entry to the venue. The Forum gets extremely busy during this period, so we advise students' to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you have any questions and queries, you can get in touch with one of the team by emailing contact@hertfordshire.su

We look forward to seeing you at Freshers' Week 2017!
