Did you know, we have more than 600 Student Reps? Student Reps are elected by their peers to represent the academic interests of their cohort. They are responsible for listening and responding to any concerns you may have regarding your course, including but not limited to: quality of teaching, assessment feedback, effectiveness of tasks in seminars and your overall experience of the course.
Our Student Voice team support Student Reps and recently ran a Rep Development Week that sought to develop, inspire and empower them. The Rep Development Week included a range of sessions. Highlights were Communication 101, Effective Campaigning, Enhancing Employability and Public Speaking. The sessions gave Student Reps the opportunity to engage with one another, learn about how to support their academic area in the best way possible and further build on their professional skills.
To find out who your Student Rep is, simply log into StudyNet where you can find this information under the 'My Course' section. If you can't access this information for any reason, be sure to email firstname.lastname@example.org so they can inform you who your Rep is.
