One of our most popular services! We have more than 100 societies that students can get involved with.
Societies are like mini communities that bring together students with similar interests. They range from academic and cultural to music and social and we'd like to think that there is something for everyone. Being part of a society is a great way to try something new, make friends for life and open yourself up to many different opportunities. Research also shows that students that engage with a society achieve a better degree outcome than students who don't. It really is a worthwhile thing to do and many students say that their best friends from university were made through a society. You can locate the full collection of societies here. Can't find the one for you? Why not adopt an inactive society or start a new one from scratch.
Please note: Due to the Coronavirus, we are not affiliating any new societies until September, and would also strongly suggest that you do not purchase any new society memberships until September too. Many societies are still working hard to offer online and virtual activities for their members, but it is understandably not the same as it would be under normal circumstances.
