One of our most popular services, we have more than 100 societies that students can get involved with. This year they're completely free to join!
Societies are like mini communities on campus that bring together students with similar interests. They range from academic and cultural to music and social and we'd like to think that there is something for everyone. Being part of a society is a great way to try something new, make friends for life and open yourself up to many different opportunities. Research also shows that students that engage with a society achieve a better degree outcome than students who don't. It really is a worthwhile thing to do and many students say that their best friends from university were made through a society. Given how challenging things are at the moment, we've decided to offer students free society memberships for the entire academic year, making them more accessible during these trying times. We're hoping this will help students to feel connected and combat loneliness as they navigate student life during a global pandemic.
