East African playground is a UK registered charity that believes in outdoor children’s development. By creating playgrounds and safe outdoor playing areas, we believe that a child will develop numerous social and life skills through playing. As well as building the locations we also deliver creative workshops for the children and help them develop their skills.
Since EAP has partnered up with the University of Hertfordshire student's union, groups of students are sent out each year to Uganda. They are sent abroad for a month as volunteers to a playground and run arts and games in the local schools.
You also have the opportunity to go on a safari, white water raft down the River Nile, go quad biking and horse riding and lots more fun activities!
We encourage you to support this cause so that African children can have a safe and fun environment to play and learn in. If you feel like this is something you would like to be part of please email us or find us on social media for more information.
