With the current situation and the expsoure to online learning as current level 5 student, I have experienced both the traditional university life and lecture delivery throughout semester A for level 4. Since then as I am part from a large cohort we have had all other learning online through pre-pared recorded lectures and live Q&A sessions with the lecturers for an opportunity to ask questions. I have been fortunate that my practical sessions in the science buildings have still be offered to students, some taking the opportunity to attend in person and others opted for alternative online work.
I propose there should be an university degree structure for students to enrol on a online course through univerisity with the same access to facilities as a traditional student, such as the LRCs and the science buiding (if appropriate). This would be a 'middle ground' between traditional university delivery and traditional online courses. Students with family comitments or busy personal schdules could then have less time commintment pressures to attend univerisity for an in person lectures but still benefit from the same quality of teaching and on campus facilities.
