Reduce the use of disposable coffee cups

Please can we do more to encourage people to use their own coffee cups. I see people go through 3-4 in a single day and I hate to think how many the University must go through in a year. Some universities have had success by lowering the cost of hot drinks by 25p and 'charging' people the extra if they require a disposable cup. We've got to think more sustainably!

1:50pm on 21 Nov 19 Agreed! Reusable cups are so cheap from Aldi. People never recycle the disposable cups either, the black bins in the LRC are always full of them despite the signs on the green bins.

2:41pm on 7 Mar 20 I think charging 25p extra to have a disposable cup is more incentive to remember your own than getting 25p off for bringing it. The value is the same yet somehow feels different? Or is that just me...
