Resources for Members of Staff

School Community Organisers are appointed by Hertfordshire Students' Union and their School of Study. We're really excited to work with this year's team of SCOs who are enthusiastic and optimistic about the year ahead. Here you can find out more about the SCO role and access some useful resources. We would also encourage you to nominate a standout SCO of the Month as and when you feel like they deserve recognition.

What is an SCO?

School Community Organisers (SCOs) work directly with the Students’ Union and your School to coordinate and support Student Reps, and enhance the sense of learning community between the students and staff within it. They also support School-based activities and events, and its student-led Academic Societies. To find out the specifics of what SCOs do in your School, please contact the Student Voice team at reps@hertfordshire.su.
