We're on hand to offer impartial advice on the academic appeals process.
We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. It's always best to forewarn your School about any potential problems that may affect your studies. You can do this by speaking to your Programme Leader and/or applying for an extension or Serious Adverse Circumstances (SACs). However, things can still go wrong due to circumstances that are out of your control. In the event that you fail a module on your course, there is an appeals process. We're able to chat to you about this. The Advice & Support Centre is located just inside Hutton Hub, College Lane. We're open for students to drop-in and speak to us from 10:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, all year round (except Bank Holidays and University Close Days). Alternatively you can call us on 01707 285022 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For a quick understanding about the process, check out the flowchart below. If you require any further information - or would like our support - please request an appointment.
