Legal Advice Clinic

 

The Advice & Support Centre hosts a free Legal Advice Clinic for students.

 

The Legal Advice Clinic can offer advice about:

  • • Options for handling disputes with your Landlord which have not been successfully resolved (Advice & Support can advice you about informal action)
  • • Consumer rights matters
  • • Issues with your employer
  • • Information about the Small Court Claims process
Please note that the Legal Advice Clinic does not provide information or advice regarding legal action against the University.

 

On-Campus Clinic

The clinic is held in the Advice & Support Centre during term time only. The Advice & Support Centre is located just inside Hutton Hub, College Lane. The Legal Advice Clinic is open to all students at the University of Hertfordshire.

 

Appointments

The clinic is held on Wednesday afternoons from 13:30-16:00. Due to high demand, appointments must be pre-booked. Appointments are 30 minutes long. You'll have a consultation with our Legal Advisor who will talk through your matter with you.
